Discography
Bob
has performed on over 100 recordings. Here is a selection.
As Leader:
The
1999 release of Breaking The Ice on Savant/HighNote Records
marked Bob DeVos’ stunning four and half star CD debut as a leader. It
features Charles Earland on Hammond B-3, legendary percussionist Master
Henry Gibson, and drummer Vince Ector. The CD remains a classic of the organ
trio genre.
Bob’s
second CD, DeVos Groove Guitar! June, 2003 on Blues Leaf Records,
reunited Bob with Hammond B-3 master Gene Ludwig and legendary drummer Billy
James, and includes Emedin Rivera on percussion.
Shifting Sands, Bob's Top Ten Jazz
CD of 2006 on Savant Records features Dan Kostelnik on Hammond
B-3 Organ, Steve Johns on drums, and guests tenor saxophonist Eric
Alexander and percussionist Gary Fritz. The
CD was released in late October 2006 on HighNote/Savant Records. Please
go to the Audio Page for review excerpts and audio clips from Shifting
Sands and all of Bob's CDs.
